My brother was older and rowdy. Had a car, the hottest girls in our area, well-earned bad ass image. I hadn't heard the Babys before but after picking me up a few days from practice I knew I just had to have some of his music (he didn't share or regard me as human yet). I took this album and This Year's Model when he used to park his car down the hill away from our driveway for obvious reasons. Had my Foghat and Ted Nugent and I was off on my own teenage fantasy! Wasn't long and he was playing catch up with me and my Agent Orange, etc.,... I know if I went back, I would do it all over again!

Many mentioned listening to this and other songs on WCFL in the 1960s and 1970s. Actually, in Michigan, it was one of the strongest signals at Night, in some areas THE strongest. Because their antenna concentrated their signal to the East, it actually was much stronger than WLS. Many radio people believe that the WCFL Top 40 format was actually better than WLS also, and many of the same DJs worked at both stations over the years. But it hardly ever beat WLS in the ratings. Anyway, the jingle at the beginning and the song perfectly bring out the feeling of WCFL and Top 40 radio in that era.

My brother was born when this song came out. What a voice! What a handsome group.

Was singing with Carl Storie and had no idea who he was. Long story short, a friend pulled out the album and played this. I remembered hearing this on the school bus in High School, and said; "Wow. He really is someone. I never knew that was him". Im betting he did well $$ from this song.
